As part of our Europe topic we had a Europe Day.  We had to bring in a story from the country we are studying and read it to the whole school.  We wore clothes from our country and it was fun to dress up.  We also had to bring in food from our country and everyone got a wee taste at each station. There was a LOT to clean up afterwards.  “My favourite food was the pork sausage from Poland” said Fergus.  “One of the best foods was  the Italian food because of the pizza with ham” commented Andrew.   ”I like being an Italian gangster and seeing everyone else in national dress and costumes” Grant said.  All the children enjoyed creating a slideshow in PhotoStory 3 about their countries and presented these to the others during the afternoon.   Everyone enjoyed the day and it was noted that the children did very well to try lots of different foods and experience some of the tastes of Europe.
