Invergarry Primary school did very well in the naming a turbine competition -with 11 of our entries being selected as names for the turbines. These were;

Kyle          – Wind Charmer

Chloe       -Highland Breeze

Ruth        -Jenny  Rator

Taylor     -Ellie Twister

Callie      -Twisty Turner

Sarah     -Dizzy Heather

Lewis    – Swirle

Sophie   – Millie

Andrew  -St Andrew’s Tower

These children were invited to the naming ceremony on 14th September up at the Wind farm. And theses are pictures from the event. – There was even coverage on STV news. The awards were presented by Daniel Alexander MP, who is a past pupil of Invergarry Primary.
