The collection of songs and instrumental describes a shopping trip in Kirkwall, where a family is expecting a visit from Granny, who lives across the sea on one of the smaller islands. Mum is busy getting organised for the visit, and sends her youngest out to get the messages. The songs tell the story of this shopping trip, with lots of adventures and fantasy thrown in!

The kids did really well, and we'd all like to thnak Mrs Wilshaw for all her help and hard work in getting everything ready. The rain forced a last minute change of venue, but the performance didn't suffer because of it, and no-one missed the midgies!
