Time Capsule

We planted a time capsule into the new wall. We held a ceremony with Ken Slater of Holme Parks officially placing the capsule in the footings of the wall and Jim Ramsay, the dry stone dyker, overseeing the children building up the wall over the capsule. Mr Slater has kindly given and transported much of the stone used in the wall.
The sealed capsule contained photographs of the whole school and nursery and each pupil added their hopes and dreams for the future. An embroidered school logo was also included.
The wall will  eventually include a built- in bench as well as the stone throne.
The next stage of the wall will be the section next to Amy's hut. It will be built of limestone and will hopefully incorporate engravings.
